As a Senior Design Verification Engineer in Micron s Advanced Computing Solutions group, you will work with the memory industry's leading architecture team on new concepts which will craft the future of computing systems. This role involves development of advanced verification environments for Micron s next generation compute and memory systems. This position is located in Allen, TX.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with hardware/software design teams to define requirements of verification environments and help implement those environments
  • Using knowledge of verification tools to implement verification solutions to meet the needs of ACS development projects
  • Developing verification plans based on design specifications to ensure adequate verification coverage and schedules to meet those requirements.
  • Using advanced verification languages and techniques to build block-level, chip-level and system-level verification environments
  • Execute verification plans that includes:
    tracking progress, identifying issues and follow issues root cause and resolution, and provide timely feedback on progress.
  • Supporting design and verification engineers with debug and test development

Successful candidate for this position will have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5
    years of design verification experience
  • Strong knowledge of advanced verification languages, tools and methodologies (e.g., SystemVerilog, UVM)
  • Strong knowledge of programming (C/C+
    and object-oriented design) and scripting (Perl/Python/Make)
  • Strong knowledge of computer architectures and systems, including instruction set architectures, coherency protocols and memory subsystems
  • Strong knowledge of ASIC and FPGA development practices and tools
  • Experience in modeling for hardware systems with solid understanding of modeling tools and techniques
  • Experience defining coverage strategy and writing coverage models
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment including mentoring junior engineers
