Job Description Build Engineer. Integration Services (ESB Team). Frontier Communications is seeking an Integration Build Engineer. This position is for an experienced IS professional, who will work as part of the Integration Services/ESB team. The team is responsible for development of integration solutions in a service oriented Enterprise Service Bus environment.
This position requires an experienced, detail-oriented build engineer with a background in Service Oriented Architecture and Enterprise Service Bus concepts. The integration build engineer will be responsible for the compilation, assembly, and delivery of source code for integration solutions produced by the Integration Services Team (aka ESB Team), as well as other shared development teams. The engineer?s primary responsibility is to provide a stable framework for development, deployment, audit and accountability for software components of integration solutions.
To be successful, the engineer must act as the liaison between the developers, architects, testing team, and project managers. The engineer coordinates disparate source trees, projects, teams, and components and therefore must give great attention to detail. The engineer tracks and reports all changes, including producing detailed deployment and release notes. The engineer will also be responsible for tracking integration defects and reporting status in daily IT release management calls. The engineer will provide governance of the delivery cycle, with special oversight of the code contributions from shared development teams.
Qualifications
? 3
years? experience in Information Technology, with deep knowledge and experience with build and deployments in a continuous integration environment
? Strong experience writing build and deployment scripts for IBM Business Process Manager (BPM). Similar experience with IBM Data Power a plus.
? Demonstrated ability to identify all of the source, tools, environment, and other components that make up a particular release.
? Demonstrated ability to integrate source, third party components, data, and deployment externals of a software system in order to guarantee operational stability.
? Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in an aggressive schedule environment
? At least 3 years? experience in automation tools, scripts and processes
? At least 2 years? experience in scripting design and development to automate IT ops processes
? At least 2 years? experience in incremental testing and deployment
? Bachelor's Degree
