Education/Certification/
Experience: Bachelors Degree required and Masters Degree preferred. Five years of progressive managerial experience supervising multiple departments and/or areas of responsibility.
Job Description:
To manage and oversee operating departments (Facilities, Maintenance, Transportation, Technology, Safety and Security). Assist the Superintendent in planning and annual reporting. Coordinate with all Operations reporting departments. Review metrics of all operating departments, and lead improvement efforts.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Oversee monitoring of Facilities, Maintenance, Transportation, Technology and Safety and Security and the development of budgets for each respective department. Review construction and architectural contracts and refer to attorney as appropriate. Plan and coordinate meetings and materials for directors. Provide training and leadership to assigned departments. Assist in bond package development and construction oversight. Ensure school buildings are maintained in a safe and appropriate manner to support the AISD vision, mission, and goals. Ensure that educational technology systems support District learning objectives. Oversee the technology infrastructure and network and research and recommend updates as needed to ensure the technology systems allow AISD to meet its long-term strategic objectives. Oversee the Districts safety and security programs to ensure a safe working environment for District employees. Ensure that the truancy program is in compliance with law. Perform periodic studies of costs, comparative analyses, etc. to benchmark and drive improvement. Attend Board meetings. Oversee preparation of Board meeting materials for assigned areas. Attend other meetings, including nights and weekends, as assigned. Serve as professional role model for staff; demonstrate high ethical standards, excellent attendance pattern, and commitment to continuous professional growth and improvement. Conduct collaborative activities with staff, including planning sessions. Maintain up to date knowledge in all assigned areas. Prepare periodic reports for district management in assigned areas. Ability to oversee large, complex, business/support operation and have familiarity with principles of continuous improvement.

SALARY: Professional Pay Grade 108, $556.00 - $661.91 daily rate, commensurate with experience according to district salary schedule.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
