Qualifications: Special Education Texas Certification and highly qualified status for NCLB in core subject areas required. Specialized training in behavior intervention strategies appropriate for students with Autism. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be found appropriate and acceptable to the administration.
Job Description: To create an atmosphere that will nurture to fulfillment the potential of each student and contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible men and women. Reports to Principal and Director of Special Services.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities: Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interest, and abilities of students. Teaches small classes of children having learning disabilites. Attends ARD meetings within school where students enrolled are discussed. Develops and updates individual education plan for students. Works closely with the classroom teacher(s) formulating teaching strategies, planning appropriate lessons and evaluating student progress. Keeps student records, cumulative and special education folders in order. Participates in staff development activities. Only reveals confidential information concerning students when disclosure serves professional purposes or is required by law. Makes year-end recommendations for student placement. Supervise assigned teacher aides(s). Performs other duties as the superintendent may assign.
OTHER INFORMATION: Mental Demands: Ability to communicate (verbal and written); ability to instruct; maintain emotional control under stress. Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.

SALARY: Professional Pay Grade 101, $254.01 - $307.49 daily rate, commensurate with experience according to district salary schedule.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
