Assistant Property Manager

We are seeking a full-time assistant property manager to be responsible for the direct management and oversight of assigned commercial properties.
Role
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of a property manager, this position will work closely with homeowners, contractors, and others to oversee all aspects of a building / property's maintenance and occupancy.
Assistant property managers also provide direct assistance to tenants to trouble shoot any property related issues, to include hiring and working with professional services, such as plumbers, construction workers and HVAC professionals for both single and multifamily buildings.

Assist in all aspects of assigned properties including special projects Schedule and oversee contract vendors Maintain a positive, productive relationship with the team Customer service & homeowner notifications as needed Understanding of governance documents, by-laws and community convents & restrictions Create RFP for vendor bids as needed Maintain records of maintenance requests, progress and successful completion Conduct site visits and inspections for assigned properties All other duties as assigned Requirements:
Proven work experience as an Assistant Property Manager or similar role A customer focus and strong desire to learn intricacies of the property portfolio including legal requirements Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Intermediate computer literacy Drivers License & personal vehicle A high school diploma or equivalent is required Preferred
Experience:
Demonstrated strong work ethic and exhibit initiative to work independently Demonstrated high level of organizational skills paying close attention to detail Demonstrated multi-tasking and time management skills Awareness of safety, risk management and preventative maintenance procedures Advanced customer service communication skills Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof reading skills and follow-up effectively Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction Job Type:
