Social Media Coordinator Job
Responsibilities:
Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms by crafting compelling captions and storytelling Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
Attend events and produce live social media content.
Help with company podcast as needed Support the brand founder with social media content creation Monitor social media analytics Track progress of campaigns Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
Collaborate with team to create a monthly content calendar Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
Work Hours:
Our expectation is that you work 10-20 hours a week during our normal business hours which are 8 AM - 4 PM CST.
Pay:
We offer competitive pay and will be discussed based on experience.
Social Media Coordinator Qualifications / Skills:
Self-starter who requires little to no supervision to meet assignment deadlines Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools Excellent social listening skills Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space Strong copywriting and copy editing skills Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills Impeccable time management skills Detail-oriented approach Education and Experience Requirements:
Associate's Degree 1-3 years of experience growing and engaging with audiences Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) Experience with Google Suite Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools are a plus E04JI802iu6e4056v6d.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
