Summary:
The Product Sales Assistant will be responsible for developing and securing retail locations for the Girl Scout Cookie program, providing Cookie Cupboard support at various council locations and assisting the team with projects and customer support.
The incumbent will serve as a representative of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas and should possess great verbal and written communication skills.
This is a short-term, temporary opportunity working in partnership with supportive product sales staff.
Essential Functions:
Recruit and secure community retail booth sale agreements over the phone and confirm via phone, email, mail, in person, etc.
Keep accurate reports of all community retail partnership communication and status of partners, providing regular updates to team.
Accomplish weekly goals and targets to ensure booth sale agreements and partnerships are on track and ready to launch by the deadline.
Be able to professionally articulate the benefits of partnering with Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas to community retail partners.
Manage cookie cupboard inventory, transactions and execute efficient cookie cupboard pick ups by select volunteers on select days and times as determined by the Product Sales leadership.
Maintain accurate cookie cupboard records and provide excellent customer service to all cookie cupboard customers/volunteers.
Provide accurate, positive and helpful member support through assigned support pathways and tasks (phone, text, cases, emails, etc.
) Ensure customers, vendors and employees are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
Compile data and reports, upon request, in a timely manner.
Assist with the coordination and delivery of programs associated with Product Sales, including scheduling, registration, volunteer management, and program implementation.
Support volunteers in local communities with tasks as assigned, to successfully execute the Cookie Program.
Assist department operations, ensuring customer service excellence and efficient and effective support is provided to all internal and external customers.
Work collaboratively and professionally, as a reliable, supportive member of the Product Sales team, who clearly communicates about ideas, projects and status of work completed, and is able to respectfully resolve differences of opinion.
OTHER Must be able to travel within established geographic areas and council service centers, as necessary.
Must have reliable transportation, hold a valid drivers' license and meet GSNETX driving record & automobile insurance requirements.
Performs other duties and administrative functions, as assigned.
QualificationsJOB REQUIREMENTS-Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA's):
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Expected to work a flexible schedule that will include mornings, evenings and some weekends.
Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Excel.
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Highly organized and efficient in accomplishing work tasks.
Regular and prompt attendance required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
