Special Education Texas Certification and highly qualified status for NCLB in core subject areas required. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be found appropriate and acceptable to the administration.
Job Description:
To enable all children to achieve and function successfully in a normal setting. Reports to Principal and Director of Special Services.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Teaches children who are unable to function in a normal classroom due to learning impairments. Participates in case conferences concerning individual students. Strives to discover specific teaching techniques that will prove most efficacious with each individual student in the class. Devises and experiments with innovative teaching methods, strategies, techniques, and learning materials in an on-going attempt to extend the possible approaches to working effectively with students of impaired learning ability. Serves as a regular member of the school faculty as well as an active member of the school's special education team. Makes end-of-year recommendations to the ARD committee so that this committee may review placement annually. Notifies ARD committee when a change in placement appears necessary. Helps each child achieve in a manner more realistic to his ability. Performs other duties as the superintendent may assign.
OTHER INFORMATION: Maintains a current program of professional growth by keeping abreast of scholarly products, research studies in the field of teaching, participating in workshops, seminars, professional organizations and/or advanced course work at colleges or universities. Teaches and exemplifies good health and grooming habits, and citizenship. Promotes a positive attitude toward the learning program. Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.

SALARY: Professional Pay Grade 101, $254.01 - $307.49 daily rate, Commensurate with experience according to district salary schedule.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
